Who We Are?
Ground Civil is a Western Australian Business that has been Designing civil projects across WA. Most people who are thinking of subdividing or land development want something that is truly engineered has the design quality to endure, avoid unnecessary costs and yet comes in at a price that is within budget. They want an experience with their civil designer that is stress-free and enjoyable, where they feel listened to and respected. Director Ethan Dadras is a Qualified Civil Engineer. He has more than 20 years of experience and with a strong focus on business development and client support ensures that the company achieves its key performance indicators of on-time delivery within the clients’ financial budget and that clients are delighted with the result.
Since 2012, Ground Civil has been a cornerstone in the community, involved in both leadership and development. Professional Engineer recognised in Civil and Leadership and Management areas (MIEAust CPEng NER ). BS Civil Engineering and Master of Philosophy in Civil Engineering(Pavement) with more than 20 years experience working in Australia and Iran on heavy civil and structural, mining and infrastructure( Airport, Bridges, roads, Drill&Blast Tunneling) and subdivisions design and construction projects.
Goals – Total Project Delivery ( Tunnel and Mining Projects ) Technical directorship and Construction Management of large scale civil infrastructure projects. Project management roles in Railway(including Tunnel) and Mining projects.
He has experience in aggregate quarry having established a concrete crushing aggregate plant, an asphalt plant and concrete ready mix plant.
BSc (Civil Eng.), MSc, PhD (Geotech), CPEng, RPEQ, NER, MASCE
Professional Engineer (CPEng, RPEQ, and NER) with the extensive and substantial design of infrastructure projects experience, working different countries in the Middle East (Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan), Malaysia, and Australia. He facilitated several projects and designed various kinds of Soil Structures (varieties foundations, piles, retaining walls, etc.); Water and Tailings Dams from a Geotechnical and Tailings Engineering viewpoint; On-site Geotechnical Core Logging Data Collection and Validation, Interpreting the Lab and Field results and Preparing Ground Investigation (GI) Reports. He has been moving seamlessly between industry and academia; He enjoys the challenges of real-life geotechnical practice, but also He loves researching and exceptionally well at both. He has been working for more than ten years in different universities in Iran, Malaysia, and now Australia as part-time Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Researcher. He has co-authored three books and have published dozens of papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings in the geotechnical engineering field.
